Early Vision
Peter Spiegel’s story began on Long Island, NY, where, even as a young boy, he had a clear vision for his future: to make a meaningful impact in the world. He was deeply aware of life’s complexities and felt a strong desire to help solve major challenges. This ambition laid the foundation for a life devoted to innovation and service.

Education & Early Ventures
After high school, Peter worked on an organic farm in the Smoky Mountains, studied traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture in London, and taught meditation worldwide. His journey eventually led him to earn a degree in Human Development from SUNY Empire State College. He then channeled his passion for health and wellness into growing a natural foods business, which he sold in 1989.
Breakthrough in TV Marketing
Peter next shifted his focus to TV marketing, specifically direct-to-consumer sales. He marketed products designed to solve everyday problems—many of which became best sellers at major retailers such as Costco, Target, Walmart, and Bed Bath & Beyond. This success was a pivotal step in his career as a serial entrepreneur and product inventor.
Founding Ideal Living
In the early 2000s, Peter co-founded Ideal Living, a direct-to-consumer company specializing in health and wellness brands. Among its most successful ventures is AirDoctor, widely recognized for its advanced yet affordable air purification systems for homes and businesses.
